We’re not talking about mild baby blues for a baby’s room either, but deep, rich, saturated blues for the whole home.
How to Decorate Your Sarasota Home in Blues
We love blues for all interior design features: furniture, area rugs, walls, and window treatments. It’s really a commitment though, so if you go bold with blue you need to do it right.
Deep blues love sunshine. We suggest you use it in bright rooms with lots of natural light. Sarasota gets plenty of sun, so you won’t have a problem picking a room to explore your blue side. Avoid it in dark rooms or small rooms, where it can become dark and cold looking.
When working with blue, a good rule of thumb is to start with the flooring and work your way up. Start with a vast ocean blue carpet in a living room, or a brilliant sapphire blue area rug.
