The Sarasota Collection Home Store is proud to have been invited to participate again this year in the 20th Annual Jewels on the Bay Designer Showhouse.
To benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of Sarasota County, the Designer Showhouse is a collaborative effort amongst 27 of the area’s top designers. Each designer (or team of designers) is responsible for an area or room in the home, but there is still an overall theme to the design: a stunning monochrome color scheme in rich grey.
Interestingly, the owner of the home is also a designer who encouraged the overall style and creative direction, and we, the designers, were happy to help her achieve such a beautiful vision. The Sarasota Collection represented by Marcus & Pam Anast placed KANNOA outdoor furniture on the pool area and deck.
Marsha Fottler of the Sarasota Herald-Tribune described the many colors that grey can be as “50 shades of grey and then some,” and she’s certainly got a point. (You can read her full review here.) A bold pink hue was also used as an accent in several spaces to bring in some whimsy, playfully complementing the Benjamin Moore Silver Fox paint choice.
It’s a gorgeous home, and a fabulous collaboration between many fellow designers and friends. We appreciate the opportunity to work together to highlight incredible design in Sarasota – as well as to support a wonderful cause. PS – here’s another sneak peak from the Observer Group!
Tickets are $25 at the door to benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of Sarasota. The home, located on Midnight Pass Road on Siesta Key, is open for tours through Feb. 15 from 10am to 4pm, with Sundays from 12-4pm. Visit the Jewels on the Bay Designer Showhouse website for more information.
