You may have heard about Sarasota Opera’s fabulous new Steinwachs Artist Residences, which were officially unveiled on Tuesday, March 21, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and performance by Sarasota Opera artists… but you can *finally* now peek inside!
The Sarasota Collection Home Store furnished all thirty units from top to bottom… drapes, bedding, furniture, the entire kitchen… everything these artists would need to feel at home during their stay in Sarasota.
We chose to do with crisp, timeless neutrals and added metallic accents throughout the space to create a classy, elegant *pop* that an opera artist would especially appreciate. The use of various textures create a welcoming sense of coziness and add depth, making the condo units feel more spacious.
Located in the Rosemary Square project at 1444 Blvd. of the Arts, the residences broke ground in August 2016. The Sarasota Opera purchased 30 units, including 16 three-bedroom, eight two-bedroom and six one-bedroom apartments, in the development to house artists and staff during the company’s fall and winter seasons.
We were so excited to create these special residences for one of our favorite Sarasota arts & culture institutions. Our design team is very proud of this project. Take a look!
